Find the next way to reduce your AWS costs

UAE engineering team? Review costs after a region move.
Explore a savings scenario
Choose an assumed reduction to see what it would mean for your budget. This is arithmetic, not an assessment of your AWS account.
Enter a positive monthly spend to calculate a scenario.
Monthly spend × assumed reduction; annual figure = monthly result × 12. Assumes steady usage and prices. Excludes implementation fees, taxes, migration costs and commitment changes. Actual savings can be lower, zero or offset by other costs. We validate opportunities before recommending a change.

Review AWS costs after a region move
If your team has moved workloads or added recovery capacity, a lower bill alone does not tell you whether the new setup is efficient. Separate temporary migration costs from normal running costs, then check what each proposed saving would change.
Bring these six checks to your review
1. Compare equivalent periods
Record the workload, dates, traffic and cost basis. Separate credits, refunds and temporary overlap so a billing adjustment is not mistaken for an engineering saving.
2. Map the actual regions
List where the application, database, backups and image registry now run. A UAE business may operate in several AWS Regions; customer location and hosting location are different.
3. Trace network charges
Group costs by service, region and usage type. Check NAT processing, cross-region transfer and duplicate copies. Price the replacement traffic path before calling it a saving.
4. Preserve recovery capacity
Identify standby resources and retained backups before removing anything. Record the restore test, recovery target and owner who must approve a change.
5. Recheck commitments
Review existing Savings Plans or reservations against the new usage. Separate unused commitments from new on-demand spend before considering another purchase.
6. Agree the next decision
Write down one cost question, the evidence needed, the reliability constraint and who can approve the work. Confirm location and data-handling requirements with the responsible business owner.
Use the NAT Gateway routing worksheet for a worked method, or the backup and recovery guide to prepare recovery questions. These are technical guides, not claimed UAE client results.

Where Your AWS Budget Is Leaking
The 4 most common sources of waste we find
Unused Resources
Idle EC2 instances, unattached EBS volumes, and forgotten load balancers eating your budget 24/7
Oversized Instances
Running t3.xlarge when t3.medium would suffice. Validate rightsizing against utilization, traffic peaks and reliability needs
Storage Mismanagement
Old snapshots, redundant backups, and data stored on expensive tiers unnecessarily
No Reserved Instances
Review Savings Plans and Reserved Instances against steady usage, existing commitments and flexibility needs
