Website Build and Launch

Build the website. Plan the launch and ownership.

A bounded build for a business or product website, with deployment treated as part of delivery. Agree the pages, content, integrations and acceptance checks before implementation. Your team receives the source, launch configuration and handover.

Start with a short brief. A call is optional. Project scope, price and schedule are agreed before work starts.

What your project delivers

Choose the work your environment needs. The proposal records which of these artifacts are included.

Page and content scope

Audience, buying paths, page inventory, content ownership, calls to action and the agreed visual direction. Identify copy, images and brand assets that your team supplies.

Responsive implementation

The agreed layouts and reusable components, keyboard-accessible forms and navigation, and mobile and desktop checks. A Next.js site is one option; platform choice follows your publishing and integration needs.

Working enquiry and measurement paths

Validate form inputs, show real acceptance and error states, and distinguish enquiries from bookings and clicks. Agree what data is collected, where it is stored and who reviews it.

Launch and handover

Version-controlled source, build and hosting configuration, domain and TLS checks, redirects where needed, release verification, recovery instructions and a named maintenance owner.

What we need to get started

  • A company or project URL, target audience, page/content inventory and decision maker.
  • Brand and content assets with permission to publish, plus the owner of copy and factual claims.
  • Required forms, integrations and editing workflow. Identify privacy requirements and access approvals before implementation.
  • A target launch window and budget range to discuss during scoping. Hosting, domains, paid tools and ongoing maintenance are separate costs.

Use the initial enquiry to describe the problem. Keep passwords, access keys and customer records out of the form. Any required access is arranged separately through your approved process.

From discovery to handover

  1. Step 1

    Agree the brief

Record page scope, content responsibilities, integrations, milestones and acceptance criteria. Set price and schedule only after the scope is understood.

  2. Step 2

    Build and review

Implement agreed pages in a preview environment. Review representative mobile and desktop layouts, real content, keyboard use and the visitor journey.

  3. Step 3

    Verify the launch

Check form success and failure, important routes, canonical URLs, metadata, redirects and the production build. Confirm analytics labels and the enquiry review process.

  4. Step 4

    Hand over ownership

Deploy with approval, verify the live release and transfer repository, hosting, domain, maintenance and recovery documentation to the agreed owners.

How we agree that the work is done

  • Agreed pages, content and responsive layouts are approved, with navigation and keyboard/form checks recorded.
  • A test enquiry reaches the agreed destination once; invalid input and failed requests do not show false success.
  • Production build and deployment pass; important URLs and any agreed redirects return the expected status and content.
  • Analytics distinguishes visitor actions from accepted enquiries and confirmed bookings, with test traffic identified.
  • Source, deployment steps, access ownership and maintenance responsibilities are handed over; outstanding risks are recorded.

Our own site: implementation through operation

This website is a first-party example of our work, not a customer case study. Its Next.js static pages deploy through AWS Amplify. The site includes responsive service pages, resource downloads, server-validated lead capture and separate booking tracking.

The visible acceptance paths include a form that confirms success only after the server accepts it, a real HTTP 404 for unknown URLs, and service pages with self-canonical URLs and relevant structured data. Release checks cover the build, deployment result and live routes. These describe implemented behavior, not a claim of increased customer revenue.

Explore the service enquiry flow, article library and published technical acceptance example. A client portfolio needs that client's permission and verified outcomes; none are implied here.

Scope, costs and ongoing ownership

This offer covers an agreed website scope. Complex application backends, ecommerce, payment processing, large migrations, legal policy drafting, translation and ongoing content production need separate assessment. Hosting and licenses are not included by implication. Maintenance, security updates, monitoring and future changes require an agreed owner or a separate service. No search ranking, traffic or lead volume is guaranteed.

A project has agreed milestones and a handover. If you need continuing operation, compare our managed DevOps service and monthly retainer. Ongoing support and staffed coverage are agreed separately.

Bring the problem you want to solve

Tell us about your stack, the delivery or reliability problem, the environments involved and your target date. We review the brief to establish fit, identify missing inputs and agree the next scoping step. A detailed review or implementation needs its own agreed scope.
